The tale follows a young boy Cedric Errol who lives with his mother in New York. He is visited by an English lawyer who informs him that he has inherited the title Lord Fauntleroy and is the heir to an earldom and vast estate.

Shelf wear to the edges and to the head and toe of the spine. With light bumps to the head and toe of the spine. The text is bright and clean, a bit of age tanning, the binding is secure, a solid collectible children's book.
