With red coloured top edge. 325 pp. 17 x 22½ x 4½ cm. 1144 gr. Illustrated with colour plates, black/white full-page illustrations, drawing in the text and two maps. Illustrations by Nelly Erichsen, W.K. Hinchliff and O.F.M. Ward. Excellent very readable history of Venice - military, art, physical landscape,etc. Slightly darkening to spine, light wear. Some stains on back cover. Small nick on spine head. Text and illustrations very clean, binding firm. A nice copy.
